What and Where is the Tundra? The Tundra is a region, that covers a fifth of the worlds surface. It is a cold region located mostly near/ the top of the world, abutting some of Russian near the top, abreast the top of North America, and the bottom of the Arctic.

- What's it like? The top of the Tundra is covered in silky white frost, which is mostly made Nitrogen and Phosphorus: formed biological fixation( when plants can take nitrogen directly into their body tissue directly. )
- Most of the States where the tundra is located are Canada, Alaska, Russia, Norway, Iceland and Greenland.The exact, or absolute location of the Tundra is 71.2o N; 156o W
- There are two types of of Tundra: Arctic and alpine. The Arctic Tundra is located near the northern hemisphere, touching the Taiga; the Alpine Tundra is located in mostly high altitude areas, mostly in the mountains.
